Train of the Prisoners

In 1902 the definitive construction of the penitentiary is begun. The jail is constructed with materials of the zone, and as manual labor is used the prisoners, to transfer the materials a train mounts that circulates on wood rails, with a trail of 60 cm. At the end of 1909 it begins to work the "Train of the Prisoners" and finalizes in 1952.

In 1994, the most austral train of the world, returns to work with tourist aims.
